I’m the mom…

Hello! I’m so glad you’ve come! If you were knocking on my door, I’d invite you in for coffee and a chat (with frequent interruptions). Since you’re not, this is the closest thing I can give you. I’m a daughter, sister, wife, and mother. Together, my husband and I have four beautiful boys, a dream of homesteading on a few more acres than we have now, and a life we know is crazy, but wouldn’t change. We’ve made it through a lot as a family. I’ve completed my law degree, we’ve lived in two different states, 3 houses, 2 apartments. We have a neurotic dog who is as wonderful as she is strange. Our guys are smart, funny, athletic, and chaotic. They look up to their daddy almost as much as I do. They make our lives an adventure and we love every minute. I hope my musings touch you, make you laugh, make you cry, and give you a little more help than maybe you had before. I’m not perfect, and I know I never will be, but I try – hard – to be the mom and wife my family needs. Somedays are wins across the board – others are complete failures. What matters is, we get back up. We try again. We keep going. And they go to bed every night knowing they’re safe, loved, and important.
